The Punjabi-American Cultural Association offered free bhangra classes to anyone over the age of 7! The classes were taught every Sunday afternoon by Manjinder Dhaliwal and Charnjit Bhullar.

Manjinder and Charnjit worked together to teach 2 groups of students. The younger team, ages 8-12, is known as Josheelay Punjabi and the older team, ages 12-24, is known as Soormay Punjabi. Both teams consist of 8 American born members who have learned the fundamentals of bhangra and have also performed at various festivals, including the annual Punjabi Heritage Festival.
